Warrenty Terms And Conditions
AS Toode offers warranty for the following coatings:
Products made of thin sheet steel with coatings: PUR, PVF2,PVC and matt polyester.
Term of validity of warranty
For PUR coating, the term of validity of coating is 15 years; for PVF2, PVC and matt polyester 10 years. The warranty starts at the moment of delivery of goods to the buyer.
Warranty conditions
The warranty covers the roof and wall claddings that are manufactured from material with polymer coating and used in normal conditions. The warranty of the coating layer includes the colour range presented in the standard colour card.
The warranty covers the following defects of coating caused by weather conditions:
- exfoliation of coating from the sheet surface
- cracking or crumbling of top coat
- strong and uneven change of the colour
Prerequisites for validity of warranty
1. The roof and wall sheets are installed in precise accordance with the instructions of AS Toode.
2. The sheets were fastened with screws with washers.
3. The installation instructions were observed
Restrictions on validity of warranty
The warranty does not cover:
1. Even changes in the colour shade caused by its fading, chalking or soiling
2. Change in gloss of the coating
3. The coating defects caused by exceptional weather conditions or impact of chemicals (exceptional weather conditions are those with abnormally high content of chemicals in the air in the form of gas, vapour or liquids, also abnormally high concentration of plankton and dust).
4. Defects caused by foreign bodies, fires, blasts, storm, earthquake, irradiation, flood, lightning stroke, cyclone, hail and other natural disasters, among them also abuse and negligence.
5. Defects caused by lack of skill in constructing the building or wrong placement of parts of building structure
6. Cut edges of sheets
7. Mechanical defects caused by transporting and installation of goods or emerged immediately afterwards.
Obligations of end-user
Should the goods have any defects that call for the application of warranty terms and conditions, the end-user shall immediately notify the seller (or distributor) thereof, not later than within 10 days of finding out about the defects.
Procedure of warranty compensation
The buyer and the seller (distributor) inspect together the damaged object. If the defect was reported as stipulated above and the damage is obvious, AS Toode shall substitute the damaged goods with the new ones at its discretion or shall restore the coating by painting.
If the reclamation regards the modification of colour, the latter should be clearly distinguishable from the rest of the material at a 15 m distance.
The warranty compensation does not cover expenditure and accidents, which were directly or indirectly caused by the defects of coating. AS Toode does not reimburse the expenses related to the dismounting of the defective sheet and the installation of the new one. The maximum compensation for repairs of surface coating is correlated to the exploitation of the coating as follows:

- 6-10 (15) years 30%
The warranty for re-painted or substituted sheets lasts until the end of the initial warranty period of the coating. The limit of the warranty compensation is the initial cost of the sheet rejected as defective. AS Toode reserves the right to modify the given warranty terms and conditions.
